Evangeline has a background in Creative Arts, Art Therapy, Community Welfare and Youth Work. She facilitates and develops Creative Art Programs for different Organisations and Corporate businesses nationally, especially youth at risk. Evangeline is the founder of the Award Winning “INSIDE OUT” Formerly “Body Language Project” Art Torso Program and has been an Artist for over 20 years. She is an experienced Art Therapist, Facilitator & Youth Worker and knows the healing power Art has, helping people express emotions and breaking down barriers, giving hope and joy.
Career highlights are Australia Day Award “Citizen of the Year” NT 1996, Community DV Award presented by Channel 7 Kay McGrath, Collaboration of her “Body Language” Art Torso Project with Debbie Allen’s Dance Troop from “Fame” in the Brisbane Festival QPAC 2012, exhibiting in the International Project by Luciano Benetton’s exhibition at the 55th Biennale in Venice. Her work has also been exhibited at the Queensland State Library, Brisbane City Hall, QPAC, and Logan & Toowoomba Regional Gallery.
She has designed, painted, and facilitated Community Murals in partnership with QLD Rail, Education Queensland, Queensland Arts, Animated Spaces, Access Arts Australia, Kath’s Gift and Lend Lease facilitating large Art Projects and Murals for Local Schools, Councils & Community Organisations and has been selected 8 years in a row to display her group works in the Brisbane Festival at Brisbane City Hall. She has a Dip. Community Welfare Work, Youth Work, Initiactic Art Therapy, Training & Assessment, Current Blue Card, Qld working with children and National Disability workers screening Yellow Card
